Covid-19 Updates:

November 20th, 2020

The Grand Tradition is closely following the recent developments around the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Outbreak. Our heartfelt thoughts are with all of those directly impacted by this pandemic.

These changes are happening rapidly, and we are trying to get up to date information out to all our guests when it is available to us. Here is what we know:

The Governor of the State of California has enacted a “Blueprint for a Safer Economy” for reopening California framework here. This blueprint provides criteria for loosening and tightening restrictions on activities. Each county in California is assigned a tier based on test positivity and adjusted case rate for tier assignment including metrics from previous weeks.

The County of San Diego is currently listed in the PURPLE phase. With that, certain businesses are limited to outdoor services only. These guidelines will be in effect for San Diego County as of Saturday November 14th, 2020.

Our Veranda Restaurant is open with seating on our covered outdoor patio. Our new hours during this time, will be Thursday through Sunday from 9am – 1pm serving Brunch and Lunch. Reservations are required, click here to make your reservation.

Our special events based business such as weddings and receptions, have been in contact with their Event Coordinator to devise a plan tailored to their wishes and needs during this time. If you have any questions regarding your event, please contact your coordinator.

Our gardens will be open to visit Thursday through Sunday from 9am – 5pm only. The grounds will be closed to the public Monday – Wednesday. Face masks will be required for all garden visitors and visitors should adhere to social distancing guidelines. Please check in with our Concierge upon arrival. We look forward to everyone enjoying a walk through the gardens.

Our Sales team will be conducting complimentary in-person venue tours of our property Wednesday through Sunday.  If you are interested in a tour, please email [email protected] to make an appointment.
